Native MIPI block cameras driving AI image processing

Writer's picture: skoopiaskoopia

skoopia's is proud to announce native MIPI block cameras allowing you to integrate natively in nVidia or Qualcomm AI engines.

The first product readily available from stock is the G21Z30M, a 30x optical zoom block with global shutter (AR0234). The blocks offers 1080p60/50/30/25 and 720p60/50/30/25  blocks over 4 lane MIPI CSI2 V1.3 output.  Next to the MIPI interface, it offers CVBS via a separate interface for direct video access.

Successor products are expected to arrive soon, 21Z30M (30x zoom rolling shutter), 21Z10M (10x zoom rolling shutter), 21Z36M (36x zoom rolling shutter) and G21Z10M (10 x zoom global shutter).

Naturally it allows strobe and trigger function, often needed in global shutter applications.

The block camera has two interfaces to allow separation of AI and viewing/ triggering (KEL interface, 9 pin FFC interface) or an integrated approach (KEL interface)
