skoopia is pleased to announce its extension of block camera video output solutions by introducing USB block cameras. The different block cameras are controlled via VISCA over USB and provide up to 1080p60 YUV (4:2:2).
Whereas the 10x block (skoopia 20Z10L3) can be powered over the USB-C connection, larger blocks such as the 20Z30L3 or 21Z30S need external powering. (See picture below)
The block cameras are connected to the LVDS to USB board (skoopia 30L2-U3) via the well known KEL cable. VISCA commands can just be given over USB. The video signal is automatically detected, and we deliver a small application that allows you to control the camera (tele /zoom, OSD).
Selection for low power blocks and above 3 W powered blocks can be made by a switch on the 30L2-U3 board.
The block camera is also available with housing at our complementing partner Jencam.
The USB block cameras have passed the engineering phase and are readily available from stock.
The USB clock cameras are another extenstion of skoopia's strive to add different video stream to its block cameras as integrated solution.
The following block camera outputs are available.
